About the Flathead Building Association

The FBA is a non-profit membership organization with over 40 years of experience dedicated to promoting professionalism, credibility, quality and vitality in the Building industry to the benefit of its members and citizens of Northwest Montana.

The FBA has 230 members. Over 50 of the members are Builders/Remodelers and 180 are Associate & Affiliate members representing sub-contractors and businesses related to the construction industry, including major financial institutions and title companies. These businesses work together to create a positive environment in support of the construction industry of the Flathead Valley.

Our Members

Each member of the Flathead Building Association has gone through a voluntary vetting process which includes a credit review submission of their subcontractor registration number, proof of General Liability Insurance and either Workers Compensation Insurance or an Independent Contractor’s Exemption Certificate.

In addition, membership to the FBA requires client references and sponsorship from another FBA member. Every member commits to and signs a code of ethics which includes a commitment to honesty in business, lawful financial dealing and fairness to all business practices.
