Pillars of Industry Awards Criteria
For more than 40 years, the Flathead Building Association (FBA) has been dedicated to promoting professionalism, credibility, quality, and vitality in the building industry to benefit its members and the citizens of northwest Montana. To recognize and honor the incredible work being done by our members in the Flathead Valley, the FBA has created the Pillars of Industry Awards spotlighting residential building projects throughout our community. This awards program will recognize the diversity and excellence in quality construction and design of new and remodeled projects.
Judging criteria include: creativity, principals of design, workmanship, visual appeal, functionality, materials used, value, and overall quality
Best Residential Winner – Westcraft Homes
The Somerton
This two-story basement home, with its huge 3-car garage, stands tall as a shining example of luxury living. Spanning an impressive 3,453 square feet, this residence offers a harmonious blend of spaciousness, comfort, and innovation. Boasting 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, this is not just a house; it’s a vision of grandeur. The soaring grand foyer has been extensively engineered and is accentuated by the dramatic chandelier that welcomes friends and family and sets the tone of expectations throughout the home. Best Kitchen Winner – Builders FirstSource
Terrace Lodge
The owners wanted to design their new home, while keeping the nostalgic feel from the original cabin in mind. They salvaged many items from the cabin and incorporated them into their new home. The general contractor introduced them to their Outside Sales Rep at Builders FirstSource who helped with all that goes along with building, as well as their Cabinet Designer who helped make their dream kitchen come true. The kitchen at the Terrace Lodge is a Rustic Walnut wood with a beautiful stain in a timeless shaker door style. When looking at this kitchen you will see amazing details like custom appliance panels and beautiful detailed crown molding. The owners worked closely with their Cabinet designer to build a kitchen where the entire family could come together. And so together, they built a life they love.
